31 Years Young

December 1977, a small company was created on the month of December called Texas Novachem Corporation, a specialty soap manufacturer making hand cleaners and various products for the commercial printing industry.

The main product line was called MicroBrush Hand Scrub, and it successfully manufactured hand cleaner for the commercial printing industry through distribution and partners around the country well into the 1980's. In the mid 1980's, founder and owner, Scott Self, decided to make a change in the company towards selling direct to the end user. UPS Ground had just made itself available to small business with very competitive pricing and now there existed an avenue to get product to end user customers efficiently and cost effective.

The tele sales market had opened up quite a bit in the 1980's as well, and thus began the marketing push to get dirty hands to try the MicroBrush Hand Scrub. The team pounded the phones with lots of intensity. The company grew and people began to talk about the product in all corners of the country.

The next major stage of the company was in 1990. Two aspects dramatically changed the outlook of the company. First, the abilityto buy a building on the interstate, and no longer renting or leasing factory space. We are still in that 20,000 square foot building with plenty of room to expand the building when the demand requires. Second, was changing our name from MicroBrush Hand Scrub to ProSoap Hand Cleaner. The move was very simple, ProSoap was more easily translated in other languages around the world. The word MicroBrush was confusing and difficult to translate in languages such as Japanese and Chinese.

The move to a new name also enabled us to have a simple Toll Free 800 Number... 1-800-PRO-SOAP. Which before the web commerce age, was a really big deal! 1-800-Pro-Soap brought a lot excitement to the team and for the next ten years continued to market the hand cleaner to the end user.

Obviously, it is difficult to fill you in on everything that the company has gone through in 31 years, but these are the major company changes. In 2004, ProSoap made a big change to webstore E-commerce solutions from Netsuite. The www.ProSoap.com webstore was born and carried us to the next level of service for our expanding customer base.

In short conclusion, we are still making hand cleaner for our direct customers in the lower 48 states and around the world in Asia and Europe. We love making and selling hand cleaner to our faithful customer base and want to continue serving each and every one of them for years to come.

Face Wash

ProSoap has manufactured a quality hand cleaner concentrate for more than 30 years. When I was a teenager, I loved the hand cleaner feeling on my hands so much, that I would use it on my face morning and night as an acne facial scrub. The ProSoap hand cleaner left my skin velvety smooth and refreshed. I told my friends about the product, who had similar reactions when attempting the ProSoap hand cleaner on their face.

It was then that I discovered a new avenue for ProSoap.... and it laid in the path of the personal care industry. After taking over the reins at ProSoap in the summer of 2004, one of my first projects was making a different formula compound to better suit the skin on your face, regardless of skin type.

The ProSoap Face Wash has a wonderful Rose Mary Mint fragrance (selected by my wife, Katie) that adds to the refreshing feeling even more. The active ingredients of the ProSoap Face Wash are very similar to the hand cleaner, but it remains a very focused product on returning the skin on your face to its optimum moisture level.

"What does that mean for me? I have oily skin, and my wife's skin is dry."

The beautiful aspect of ProSoap Face Wash is the effectiveness on both oily and dry skin. Those with oily skin are able to return their skin to the proper moisture level for a clean facial feature. Faces with dry skin can benefit from the premium lotions and conditioners in the ProSoap Face Wash that will help with those dryer spots of the face. Continued use of the ProSoap Face Wash will promote the same level of healthy skin as the hand cleaner.

The word is getting out on the face wash on the market. We are so happy to have an opportunity to clean so many faces effectively. We guarantee our product...If you are not completely satisfied with the ProSoap Face Wash, Return it, no money owed.

Haven't Tried It Yet...

ProSoap has provided a top of the line mechanics hand soap for over 30 years across the country.  In the beginning it was known as MicroBrush Hand Scrub, and is wildly remembered by the top engineers as the green wonder that hit in the late 1970's.  Sold by distribution in the beginning, the product was not as readily available to all corners of the country.  Following logic and high demand from a number of markets, MicroBrush Hand Scrub (now ProSoap) began selling directly to the end user with B2B marketing.  At ProSoap, we feel that every size shop deserves a top tier hand cleaner at a cost that will save them money.  For over 20 years, ProSoap has shipped hand cleaner directly to small and medium size shops with Free UPS Ground shipping.  We have heard from many different markets, from commercial printers, metal frabricators, mechanics and auto repair, as well as many racing teams that our hand cleaner really is the Best Ever For Hands That Do Work. tm

Here is one of the many spokesman for the ProSoap Hand Cleaner.

I have been in the auto repair buisness for 27 years, and I have tried every brand of hand cleaner out there, most of which delivered the same results. They all did an adequate job of cleaning my hands, some rquired a little more effort on my part, but all of them left me with dry and cracked skin. Then I tried Pro Soap. WOW!!!!! what a difference. I need very little effort to clean my hands even after the dirtiest jobs, and my skin no longer cracks and bleeds. I have now been using Pro Soap for approximately 7 years it is the only soap in my shop. The free samples that other companies hand out, I simply take home and use as my emergency hand cleaner if I leave the shop in a hurry and forget to wash hands (after all thats better than just throwing it out). The sevice reps from Pro Soap are are as good as the product they sell, they know my shop, how much soap I use, and will call for a reorder about the time I am down to my last container. I would tell anyone, if you are happy with some other product, it is only because you haven't tried Pro Soap.
